The Mission Bay boardwalk is one of the best rides in San Diego — flat, scenic, and long enough to actually feel like a workout without wrecking your whole morning. If you’re mapping out a loop around the bay, Crown Point Coffee sits right on the route, which makes us a pretty natural stop whether you’re fueling up before you ride or refueling once you’re done.

Right on the Route
We’re located on Ingraham St in Crown Point, right in the stretch of the boardwalk that riders pass through heading around Mission Bay. That makes us an easy add to a loop you’re probably already riding — no detour required, just a quick stop on the way. If you’re coming from Pacific Beach or looping up from the south end of the bay, we tend to fall right about at the halfway point, which makes us a natural place to break up a longer ride.
Fuel Up Before You Ride
If you’re heading out for a longer ride, grab something from our breakfast menu before you go — a bagel sandwich or a breakfast bowl gives you something that’ll actually hold you over, instead of the sugar crash you get from a pastry alone. A hot coffee or a cortado is an easy way to wake up before you clip in, especially on an early-morning loop.
Refuel After: Smoothies, Cold Brew & More
After the ride is where we really shine. A cold brew or iced coffee hits different after you’ve been out in the San Diego sun, and our smoothie lineup is built for exactly this moment — real fruit, protein boosts available, and nothing that’ll leave you crashing an hour later. A lot of riders stop in specifically for this part of the loop, treating us as the reward at the end of the route rather than just a mid-ride stop.
Easy In, Easy Out
We know nobody wants to deal with hauling a bike through a tight café. Street parking right outside makes it simple to pull up, lean your bike where you can see it, and grab what you need without a whole production. If you’re riding with a group, there’s enough room out front that you’re not blocking the sidewalk for everyone else trying to get by.
A Good Stop for Group Rides, Too
If you’re organizing a group ride around Mission Bay, we’re an easy meeting point — easy to find, easy to park bikes near, and with enough menu variety that everyone in the group can get what they actually want instead of settling. A lot of local riding groups use us as either the starting point or the final stop before everyone splits off to head home.
Best Time of Day to Ride
Mornings tend to be the sweet spot for riding around Mission Bay — cooler air, calmer paths, and a coffee that actually tastes better before the day heats up. That said, we see just as many riders come through in the evening, especially in the summer when the light stretches out and a sunset loop around the bay turns into the whole point of the ride rather than just exercise. Either way, we’re open daily from 7am to 5pm, so there’s room to plan around whichever part of the day works for you.
Make Us Part of Your Route
